ROBERTA is usually the first person you'll meet when you call or come into our office, as she fulfills her responsibilities at the front desk. Part of the Willes Orthodontic team from the beginning, she brings more than 40 years of dental experience–including 20 years as a dental hygienist and 20 years in the front office–to our practice. Even more importantly, though, she brings her warmth, enthusiasm, and genuine concern for each person she helps. Roberta describes her feelings for her job by saying, "I love the results we get to see as people come in to Dr. Willes to change themselves for the better, and I love that we get to enjoy them throughout this journey! They're in great hands with Dr. Willes. He is a great orthodontist, a great teacher and scholar, and a man with wonderful values. He reminds our staff that our first responsibility is to care for and serve others. He knows how to have fun, too!" |

JANET has worked in dentistry for 20 years, with 17 of those in orthodontics. She has been with us since we started our practice in 1996–adeptly fulfilling many responsibilities and willingly tackling new challenges as the practice has grown. Although she is a skilled RDA, her primary role is Treatment Coordinator, which means she is responsible for caring for our new patients–from answering your initial questions to assisting Dr. Willes in your first orthodontic examination to helping you sort through the sometimes confusing insurance questions and various financial options. If you have a question, Janet can answer it! When asked what she likes best about her job, Janet says, "I love to see the positive effects orthodontics has on people's lives. I enjoy the relationships we establish with our patients and their families. It's rewarding to watch them grow. As for Dr. Willes, I really like working with him because he is so caring, and he treats patients the way he would treat his own family." |

CHARRISE draws upon her seven years of experience in the orthodontic field, her computer expertise, and her organizational aptitude to serve in many capacities. She is not only a talented orthodontic assistant, but she keeps our various office systems running smoothly and always has innovative ideas for improving even more. Regardless of what project she's undertaking at the moment, she always handles it with grace and competence. Of her job, Charrise says, "It's FUN to come to work–Dr. Willes makes it fun when he tells jokes and keeps us laughing. Working with the other staff members is great, too, because we're all friends, not just co-workers. And it's so rewarding too see the patients with their beautiful new smiles–to be part of their deband day when they first get to see the results of their time and energy spent in braces." |

RACHEL combines her seven years as an RDA and orthodontic assistant with her enthusiastic dedication to her work. She is always looking for ways that we at Willes Orthodontics can make your orthodontic experience even better. And for Rachel, this usually means "more fun!" She loves decorating for the holidays and thinking of new contests for our patients and coming up with ideas that will make your experience with us even more enjoyable. She said she sees her responsibilities as being two-fold: assisting Dr. Willes at chairside and, equally importantly, making sure each patient feels welcome, comfortable, and cared for. "My favorite thing about my job is the chance to interact with each of our patients, and see the positive changes that occur in them. And I love that we have such a friendly office to work in with such an easy-going doctor." |

LAURIE, the newest member of our team, adds her energy and enthusiasm–and her five years of experience in orthodontics–to our office. An accomplished orthodontic assistant, Laurie loves to learn and refine her skills, and she is excited about the opportunity to take on more challenges and responsibilities as they come. That's part of the appeal of working in orthodontics: there are always interesting new challenges. Laurie really enjoys her job, and says, "I love the interaction between patient and assistant. In orthodontics, we get to see patients regularly, and it's a great feeling when you get to see someone so happy to have a great smile!" She adds, "Dr. Willes is a great person to work for. He is very kind and understanding. He is also very willing to help and teach. He has made this a fantastic place to work! |

HEIDI loves being part of the Willes Orthodontic team, even though she's usually doing it from home. As Dr. Willes's wife and stay-at-home mom to their four children, she utilizes her spare time and her background in journalism and public relations to oversee the marketing aspects of the practice, from writing newsletters and office literature to taking pictures for the website to scheduling Dr.Willes's community speaking events to planning patient contests and ordering fun give-away items. She also pays the office bills–and she can make a Costco run with the best of 'em! Her favorite part of being on the team, though, is being able to attend staff meetings and staff lunches and any other opportunity she has to associate with the incredible people that are Willes Orthodontics. As for the doctor himself, Heidi thinks he's the greatest! But, of course, she's biased.
