Because of brave men and women in the military, we all have reason to SMILE…and the FREEDOM to do it! On this Memorial Day weekend, we thank our military friends—and their families—for their service and sacrifice.
Living here in North County, we are especially aware of how many truly are serving our country—and thereby serving each of us. And we want to express our gratitude to them. As one small way to say “Thank You,” Dr. Willes’s band, The Flying Mangos, performed at last weekend’s Military Appreciation Day at the Oceanside Pier (check out the photos on our Facebook page). It was a beautiful day…and a great opportunity to show our service men and women and their families what they mean to us!
