Because so much of what we do is focused on kids and teens who almost always love Halloween, and because it's looking like many of the usual autumn activities might not happen this year, we have tried to come up with our own creative ways to still make it a fun, FANGtabulous time for our patients—and the whole community.

So, on Thursday, October 1st, we are launching our WILLES ORTHO MONSTER MASK CONTEST!

We'll be giving away more than $400 in cash and prizes for the best-decorated face masks in the following categories:

MOST SPOOKTACULAR (silly or scary… but not too gruesome)

BOOOOOys and GHOULS (aged 12 and under)

BRACED for HALLOWEEN (Willes Ortho and/or dental themed... have you noticed that Halloween creatures have some gnarly teeth and would definitely benefit from braces. Lol. And/or many masked monsters would look great wearing a Willes Ortho Tee or standing in front of our sign ; )

Plus, a MOST VOTES CONTEST for our favorites in each category.

PLUS, weekly random drawings (aka: no artistic skill needed : )

The Willes Ortho MONSTER MASK Contest is open to patients, families, friends, and all residents of North San Diego County--young and young at heart.

Then have fun making your MONSTER MASK... to win some MONSTER CASH!!

p.s. You may use your own blank face mask, or pick up a plain black or white disposable one at our office.

HOW TO ENTER our 2020 Willes Ortho Monster Mask CONTEST!

 QUICK LIST:

1- Follow us on Instagram or Facebook.

2- Make a Halloween-themed face mask.

3- Post a pic of you wearing it and tag @willesortho AND #WillesOrthoMONSTERMASK.

4- Read contest rules, and email photo of signed contest release.

5- Enjoy other contestants’ creations while you wait to see if you are a $100 WINNER!

1- FOLLOW us on Willes Ortho Instagram or Facebook.

2- Create a hand-crafted Halloween-themed face mask* that fits one of our THREE FANGtabulus categories:

3- “Submit” your entry by posting on your Facebook or Instagram a photo of you wearing your mask with #WillesOrthoMONSTERMASK AND @willesortho between Oct 1- Oct 24, 2020. OR you may post a mask you made with someone else wearing it, but we must have a signed release from you AND the person modeling the mask.

4- To be considered for the MOST VOTES contest, the photo must be posted by Oct 24, 2020. However, photos posted through Oct 30, 2020, may be considered for one of the three category prizes.

5- Read all contest information and rules, and email a photo of your signed Willes Ortho Monster Mask Contest Release form*** to SMILES@WILLESORTHO.COM. (Release required for prize consideration and MOST VOTES contest.)

6- You will then be entered to win one of three $100 category prizes!

7-For a chance to win an ADDITIONAL $100 in the MOST VOTES contest, we will choose a bunch of our favorite submissions to repost on our Instagram and Facebook page.**  We will notify you via Instagram, Facebook or email if you have been chosen. Then you can encourage your friends to VOTE for your entry during Halloween week, Monday-Friday Oct 26-30, 2020.  (Specific How-to-Vote details will accompany the VOTING post.)

ADDITIONAL WILLES ORTHO MONSTER MASK CONTEST RULES

1-This contest has been created by Willes Orthodontics and is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by Instagram or Facebook.

2- The 2020 Willes Ortho Monster Mask Contest is open to patients, their families, friends, and all North San Diego County residents who follow us on Facebook or Instagram. Willes Orthodontics reserves the right to refuse any entry.

3- Willes Orthodontics requires a signed release*** for prize consideration.

4- Willes Orthodontics may be reposting entries, along with contestant and/or model first names, for purposes of voting, information, promotion, and other legal purposes on our various media channels, email, etc, throughout the duration of the contest, without notifying contestants.

5- Winning entries will be chosen by team members of Willes Orthodontics.

6- Mask must be handmade solely by the entrant.

7- Contestants may enter up to 5 masks, but Willes Ortho may limit the number included in the voting portion, and contestants may win only one $100 category prize.

8- Willes Ortho reserves the right to request additional photos of masks being considered for prizes.

9- $100 winners will be posted to Willes Ortho Facebook and Instagram on Halloween, Oct 31, 2020. They will also be directly notified the following week….and will be able to pick up their $100 prize at Willes Orthodontics during business hours thereafter. At prize pick-up, additional photos of winners may be taken for publication.

10- Weekly random drawing gift card winners will be announced on Facebook and Instagram, and sent notifications via Instagram, Facebook, or email, and will be able to pick up their gift cards at Willes Orthodontics throughout November. Additional photos for publication may be taken at prize pick-up. Random prize gift cards will be considered forfeited if not picked up by November 30, 2020.

11- Posting a #WillesOrthoMONSTERMASK/@WillesOrtho entry constitutes a contest “submission” and acceptance of the above terms and conditions.

*You may use your own blank face mask, or pick up a plain white or black one at our office.

** “A bunch” will be determined by total number of submissions and at the sole discretion of Willes Orthodontics.
